A little relationship guidance please?

so there is this guy i have been spending time with at my university for a few months. I have known for awhile that i really am starting to like him. we spent the last few days together at his home in florida and they were absolutely wonderful even though we really just layed in bed watching tv. anyways, when i left to board my plane i kissed and hugged him goodbye and we parted ways. now i knew i would be sad to leave him again (we are about 8 hours apart) however when we parted and i boarded my plane i just instantly starting crying and tearing up and i couldnt stop myself, i was just wondering has anyone else experienced this? could this mean maybe i am really falling for this guy?
