Tried join up tonight.......?

I got my five year old out, after I made a make shift round pen. Only then it kinda turned in to a rectangle pen made out of yarn...Anyway. I ran her for an hour and 30 minutes. Just a walk and trot, a little bit of a lope. She had her ear on me the whole time licked her lips and chewed some then stopped and didn't do it anymore. She only licked and chewed for about 2 minutes then completely stopped. Did I do something wrong? Was it my fault she didn't "give" to me?
